Hitler was charismatic as hell, that's about the best quality he had IMO. Too bad he used it for fascist and genocidal purposes. He was also a drug addict and obsessed with turning Germany and most of Europe back to ancient pagan beliefs.

Still most people don't like to acknowledge much of the technology and medical advances we have today are owed to WW2 era Germany. Read up on Operation Paperclip for starters. Just the tip of the iceberg really.
