No ones said Dr Dre Beats yet? Anything wrong with those?
I mean DO NOT get the solos...those things are just shit
But I have 3 friends who all have the Beats Studio and they are fucking amazing IMO (tho I don't know much about it)
Feels like putting two pillows on either side of your head, and the bass response is divine

My $0.02

Haha I'm sure - but it's okay, I got plenty of time :W:

So, tell me, wise mentor, what's wrong with Beats? :)

Beats are commercial headphones. Not monitoring headphones. Thats about all that needs to be said. Over hyped frequencies to make music sound "better" only rappers trying to be cool mix on Beats.

I thought as much.
So why do they honestly just sound/feel so good?

+1 for Sony mdr 7506, I'm using them for mixdown with my KRK RP6G2s, they are the industry standard for that price, dont buy AKGs they are weak as fuk.

because they do.. they're decent for listening but you don't want them for producing for the same reason you don't want to use surround sound to produce. flat response monitors/headphones are essential for producing (well) so that you can mix properly and hear things as they really are. beats boost the bass and i dont even know what else but they just make them look nice and slap a rappers name on em and people scoop them up for $400 just because of that
