im starting to think all these genres could really move a crowd anywhere u want if well mingled and used cleaverly... fidget usually appeals to the less underground-eared people.. but it also does a hell of a job when mixed properly ...

haha, yea im onto what he means though. Usually you dont tend to hear the sounds of fidget and electro at Underground raves round here. But a few of my mates who are hardcore Dubstep DJ's in the liverpool scene have all commented and i certainy recon with the right song choice a Fidget breaks set could go down a storm. Even starting to produce it a lot more than Dubstep at the moment.

I wish DnB had a serious following in Central Texas. Dubstep has caught on in a huge way, which is awesome.
Just hard to get my DnB fix. When dubstep was coming up, they were both playing nicely, and tended to have a room dedicated to the two together at parties.
Dubstep's drowned the DnB out now though.

Gotta remember though D&B has been trying to break through into mainstream for ages and i think Pendulum killed any chance of that happening [Thats just my opinion] Theres still a massive D&B scene over here in the UK But i find that going to an evening which is purely D&B can kill you. Cant keep a crowd motivated for long periods of time. I find that usually once the clock strikes like 1 or 2 in the morning people are Dying of exhaustion at a night thats listed to go on till 4am+ [With or without the aid of :q: ] But yea D&B is good but i think D&B needs to think how to keep people going all night rather than just one stinker after another.

Dont get me wrong though, i still love some D&B BANGERS to get played every now and again at a night

Well yeah, I'm not saying I wanna hear DnB all night. Or dubstep either, tbh. Or anything. Shows have multiple rooms for a reason, for variety. It was nice when DnB was in the mix at all. It's practically dissipated here. Lol.
Agreed though. A DNB show would be fucking gnarly, and I'd be dead by midnight. >_<
