Avant-garde music probably has an even higher shit/good ratio than pop music. If you see something in his stuff then fine but to me he offers nothing. Doesn't make me an idiot, that's my opinion. Better examples to me of artists who produce stuff outrageously on both ends of the shit/good spectrum would be Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream.

I was being facetious, I realise some people must like him or he wouldn't have the money to keep up his ridiculously high output.But in all seriousness I did use him once to get someone out of my room. Though I've done the same with Pere Ubu and I love them so...
