Exactly, instead of watching the tutorial to make a sound.... learn the shit out of your synth and make the sound yourself, and also any other sound you may want to make.mikeyp wrote:Skrew wrote:I prefer YouTube over manuals for FL.ChadDub wrote:Yeah definitely. Re: The manual.
I've never actually sat and read a manual. Frankly it's just way to much information that way to actually remember the majority of it. Generally I find something particular that I want to learn, and then find that in the manual and work on it as I read. It tends to stick easier this way than just reading it all at once.

I've had a copy of that for years, quality book.paradigm x wrote:I thought you meant

Re: The manual.
I don't think I've ever read the manual from start to finish. I tend to refer to it when I want to know how something works, or want to find a shortcut.

That, Or FL guru. I mean they kinda got a whole tutorial video on all of its functions.
http://www.youtube.com/user/imageline
And it's kind of like..By the people who made the whole program, I'm sure massive tutorials/ *cough or reading the manual Cough* are around too.
But I mean, if you're too lazy to read the manual or search up imagelines youtube, you could simply just spend hours upon hours of asking same repetitive questions and tearing your hair out to get to the same point in over 15 years instead of just learning. I mean that works too.
Or
Better yet! You could start now and in 15 years you'd be 10x better (or as good as) than anyone else out there given that you've learned 140,160 hours of your life everyday or something mad crazylikethat

We should scrounge up a few bucks and pay deadly habit to do a dramatic reading of a manual.
