I'd be watching either way, but I'm curious as to how they'll approach this. The Super Bowl is extra special this year because it's being held in my home town :)

I might also mention that dubstep still hasn't really 'caught on' here... Or should I say, the deep/roots of dubstep haven't. Of course the screechy, annoying side has infected mainstream music listeners everywhere, including here.

c 'mon it's just a game of... FOOT BALL.

you know the game you play with your hands.

welcome to HELL.

(not to summon something awful, but what if skrillsux plays halftime? it could totally happen)

much like baseball, a typical American sport suited for the American needs: Lots of breaks in the play for eating hotdogs, drinking beer and generally getting more and more obese. The overacting on and off the pitch is something that bothers me as well.
Having said all of this, I'll watch the bowl probably. Despite the (somewhat jokingly) remarks above, I occasionally can enjoy it.
Rugby is a way better game though, in all aspects. Six Nations starts again next week! Can't wait for that.

Mate, the deep/roots of dubstep will never catch on. This super bowl bollocks is obviously gonna be the screechy shit cos that is what everyone knows as dubstep.

If this is the future, it seems highly livable: shiny, cool and comfortably dissonant. Like a low dose of ketamine in an empty, luminous airport hall in northern Japan, eating avocado and waiting for the universe to arrive.

I think whats more crazy about this is that over 100million people via TV will hear dubstep (whatever variant there of), quite possibly for the first time. 5-7 years ago, you'd struggle to get people to give this music a listen.
