How'd the rest of your set go after I'd left?

Yeah all good. Cheers for coming down btw mate. They shut about 10 past 12 anyways so you didnt miss much.

This girl did come up to me and ask me if I knew anywhere good to go onto after. I said Clapham at first, but didnt overly know any bars there. But also recommended Croydon, to which she replied......Isnt it a bit rough there?! I kinda scoffed and reminded her she was in Tooting.

My thoughts exactly.
requests suck

I remember asking to hear Armies of darkness by Rage against the machine, waaaaay back in the day.
The DJ smiled at me.
He never played the track though.

saw Yunx a few weeks back. I was standing by the booth and this guy comes up next to me with his iphone out with that note pad app with "... Rusko Remix..." followed by a few ???s trying to hold it up over the booth. I forget what tune it was, maybe a remix of rusko even. doesnt matter because Yunx never looked up and the guy wandered off after a few minutes.

I think she may have been implying she wanted to go back to yours.

worst request i've ever received was in 2009 a girl asked me to play Chris Brown. all i could think was: does this mean she wants to be hit in the face? i assume you have to at least tolerate misogyny if you're into Chris Brown and this girl kept running her mouth at me like she must have really wanted to see the back of my hand.

i recently played a laptop set on ableton at a houseparty. you really get zero respect when using a laptop. someone actually asked me to install virtual dj on my computer! i politely explained that its a new computer so i don't want to install random Warez on it.... so he brings out his jumpdrive asking if he can play some of his own productions (rap remixes). so i let him try to use ableton and walked off while he completely failed at operating the program: dramatic justice. :Q:

Have you considered expanding it to a pimp slap? Someone requests tearout in the middle of a deep set, bit of chalk on the palm followed by an open slap to the face. It'd let them know whose boss, plus the chalk would show up under UV so you could spot repeat offenders.
Duck for cover, Ninjas... wub's back on the slapsies!
