what do you guys think of traktor controllers?

ive recently (about a year) moved to traktor scratch vinyl with an akai LPD8 midi, its pretty good i have to say, even as a vinyl/digging purist.

Does traktor use turntables or a midi controller?

Choose between a controller, vinyl or cd.
The akai midi controller is for midi maps, effects, cue points etc.

i use a kontrol X1 and it's perfect. absolutely no faults, great build, and lovely stiff pots.

the S4 is fun, i found the sample decks a bit poor and i prefer using an external mixer but it's a shit hot controller.
found the FX buttons a bit awkward to reach when using the S4 in its flight case.
