Re: Aspartame
The problem is deeper than just aspartame, look at the ingredients of everything you eat and drink, note down all the chemicals. im currently in the process of eating more natural products and staying away from these chemicals, it can't be good to be eating and drinking them every day.

Re: Aspartame
If you're worried about the various random chemicals in food and don't want to consume them the answer is simple. Don't buy processed or packaged food, ready meals or fruit veg and meat from large supermarkets. Get your meat from a responsible butcher, get your veg from the local market/ green grocers, and get your sundries/tinned/grains from a whole food shop (or the whole food section in your supermarket). Cook everything you eat yourself, unless going out for a meal, of course. Always take a bottle of water/fruit juice with you wherever you go, thus avoiding the need to buy shitty sugary/acidic drinks when you're thirsty.
Then let it all down by buying some mad £1 for 12 Mars bars deal in the shop

Actually, tinned food has BPA in because tins are lined with plastic. Ceramic and glass are the best containers as they don't leach any chemicals... wood is also okay if you don't mind the flavour changing slightly.
