I prefer their pastry and sausages. It just tastes high quality than Greggs.

I kinda like the fact that greggs sausage rolls taste cheap and scummy though, thats half the appeal imo... i would say it's forbidden fruit but that would imply some sort of nutritional valuelegend4ry wrote:I prefer their pastry and sausages. It just tastes high quality than Greggs.

This is getting locked. Out of sheer disgust. You lot need to grow taste buds. Right now.

Does anyone know about Dickson's Saveloy Dip??? This is where you go instead of shitty gregs

One item that remains unique to the Dicksons empire is the beech-smoked saveloy which can be eaten however you choose, but to enjoy the legendary Saveloy Dip it needs to be served hot in one of their fresh baps with pease pudding, sage and onion stuffing and a generous dollop of English mustard. Michael Dickson is confident that the 21st century will see a taste for this delicacy spreading further afield.

Steak or chicken bakes. Although I did quite like the chicken and stuffing lattice they had some time last year.

I used to get Greggs regularly when I worked a shitty office job in a crap area of Bristol. Dire times.nitz wrote:pete bubonic wrote:Fuck I ain't got mod powers in here.

Now days I go to a decent deli or local sandwich joint. Or if I'm feeling the need for something dirty KFC/Miss Millies.

Re: Favourite Greggs Product (SAVE GREGGS)
Greggs is fucking grim. And isn't it now the most populous food joint in the UK. Don't think it's going to need saving any time soon.
I haven't eaten a Greggs since I was coming back from a night out, stopped off at the Greggs that's open till like 5 in the morning in Birmingham City Centre, ordered what can loosely be termed a cornish pasty, looked at it, the meat was actually grey. Fucking horrible. You know it's bad if you're pissed out your face and the food seems grim.
I had a similar revelation with pork scratchings a few years ago.
