Im sure there isnt an age group, but being realistic not many people over 30 are going to be doing anything new and interesting if they arent already a household name already. theres 60 people, 30 for each 'term' with a term being 2 weeks. Unsigned people do get in yes, but goin on to http://www.redbullmusicacademy.com and go to people at the top, then search through each years and just search for participant to see the people who took part.Sonika wrote:So are there unsigned people who get in? Is there a target age group? And how many people are admitted?

Thats a little bit odd because when I was watching some of the lectures, a lot of the people in the crowd seemed like they didn't know much
Re: RBMA 2012
What do you mean by they didnt know much? About the artist? Cos not everyone there is going to be into and know of every lecturer.Sonika wrote:skimpi wrote:Im sure there isnt an age group, but being realistic not many people over 30 are going to be doing anything new and interesting if they arent already a household name already. theres 60 people, 30 for each 'term' with a term being 2 weeks. Well yeah they were clueless about the artist but I just remember some questions about running a label and lowpassing stuff which just struck me as very beginnerskimpi wrote:What do you mean by they didnt know much? Not everyone produces. You get singer-songwriters, MCs, Label owners, DJs etc. as well as the producers.
EDIT: Does anyone know when the lineup for the lectures will be released? Cos I'm looking forward to catching some of these online.
