Need to get your ass back on fruity loops 1.6. Get hard G.

on topic. I like it and think it's sweet but couldn't you just (if you had a pad controler) pad up your clips, click record in edison and just do the same thing already? The Cool Down timers are a nice touch.

Motherfucker wiped out all my setting in regular old 10. Usually the installers ask if you wanna preserve your settings... no such luck on this one, layout, mixer, default directories. All gone. At least the plugin picker was not fucked, I woulda lost it...

You should install the beta in a different folder anyway, it will expire in about 2 months and there are ways to avoid the loss of settings (check imageline forum).

Did install in separate folder, previous installers preserved your settings.

Mmh weird, did you uncheck "clear" and check "imigrate". Well, this happend to me some years ago before they put this option in the installer ( i fixed it, cant remember how tho, think was some regfiles and a .exe file ). You can backup alot of your fl settings, like the plugin picker or samples u edited in edison , just copy the plugindatabase and sliced beats folder in a save place (and update that backup from time to time), if something happens bring it back in the FL folder.

i really like the performance mode in the new FL beta, for me its better than ableton,i agree there are some areas where FL could be optimized, and i hope we will see that happening in the near future
