My housemate had a physical copy of Reason 5 kicking about and I asked if I could install it for a tinker :p

Should deffinetly look into it.. Reason 6 is getting rack extensions so pick it up soon if you are going to, because the upgrade will be free

Yeah, i just feel like Reason's new interface is a bit wonky (and not in the Rustie way) from what i hear. But who knows, i enjoyed reason 4 back then, and there is always ReWire. They need to just go ahead and release Malstrom/NNXT/Thor as vst's and make some money.

Either way, worth a shot. You never know what might strike gold in a tune. :)

So I went back and re-watched this tutorial and the 1 part im stuck at is replicating what the spider audio splitter does in logic. I've tried just sending the reece to 2 busses and putting different BP filters on each but it isn't really working as smoothly as i'd like. Maybe I've got my busses routed funny or something idk, anyone got any tips on this part? or a vst that does what the merger/splitter does?

Combinators are hard to Tranlate to different daws but I think I'd be on the right track with busses
