the latest album i thought was a complete knockoff of skrills style but i love most of his other stuff

How? He basically that mainsteam dubstep is skrillex. I do not like skrillex that much but you can't just totally disregard a producer he has couple good songs.

He said sqelchy, growly bass in dubstep is popular now...i don't see how that's incorrect or selfish.

Yes, but that's quarter-time 88bpm, not half-time 88bpm. That's twice as slow as what Rymphony was saying.
