Entries in, voting is open
Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 36 - VOTING OPEN
I made a tune for this that turned out quite nicely, was nearly done. Had a problem with my soundcard for a week tho which meant I couldn't progress with it. Was still fun to do.

Voted A. Lovely tune, I love how the tune progress and how the samples have been used throughout the tune.
I'm kinda sad I didn't get anything done, but the weather has actually been good here for the first time since june haha

Nah, people on here are just cowards TBH...the 48hr contest gets a load more entries because the only restriction is time, not resources. So the generic synth laden rubbish gets churned out in there as it's what people do day in, day out.
God forbid folk should have to work with a limited palette of sounds to make something decent without dialling up Generic Synth Patch #14

Wonder if that's got anything to do with the change in voting policy you've implemented?Project EX wrote:wub wrote:Nah, people on here are just cowards TBH...the 48hr contest gets a load more entries because the only restriction is time, not resources. But it's not like the 48 gets lots more. Both seem to go downhill. Used to be a lot more just a few months back, now we're nowhere near 10
Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 36 - VOTING OPEN
Most likely, but the new system works pretty well imo, no weird stuff happening since it's been implemented. The number of votes did drop, but I expected that. Hell, it proves people we're taking a piss with the poll and that some are waaay too lazy to postwub wrote:Wonder if that's got anything to do with the change in voting policy you've implemented?Project EX wrote:wub wrote:Nah, people on here are just cowards TBH...the 48hr contest gets a load more entries because the only restriction is time, not resources. I voted for A it was my favorite idea!
I personally think these should be stickied, they used to be, this sample comp is becoming an old dsf tradition why not?
