Also, just because I show how to make a certain sound does not mean everyone who watches it is about to go make the next Skrillex song out of it, producing and sound design are two completely different things. Like how you said, "You're basically catering to all of the kids who want to sound exactly like Skrillex" just because they watch this doesnt mean they automatically sound like Skrillex.

You don't get it, do you? :D

And how exactly are people going to improve their sound-designing skills by watching tutorials like these? Copy/paste doesn't exactly help one become a better sound-designer.

No I do get what you mean dude, but Im not going to make long ass 30 minute tutorials on making just one sound, I try to go through it as fast as I can, if people really need me to explain everything I'm doing in Massive then they should go buy the tutorials from massivesynth.com because that's how I learned what everything does..

I am sorry to dissappoint you, mate, but you still don't get it.

It is not about how you go about making a certain sound, but rather how you go about making a thousand sounds. There is no need to make a whole bunch of 30 minute videos on making a certain sound, instead make only one or two videos giving out information on how the synth and synthesis in general actually works, and how to go about experimenting with the software. There are many people who learn both faster and easier by visual, including myself, instead of actually reading the manual.

I was merely stating my opinion and was trying to clarify to you what he meant by what he said. There are many people who will benefit from your tutorials I'm sure.. Not everyone is completely serious about music production and just like to dick around and those people I am sure will have great pleasure in watching your tutorials, in order to play around with a bunch of cool sounds.

You are, of course, welcome to freely do as you desire and help out those who seek it. It was never my intention to step on your toes, and if that is the case, I apologize.

why do every brostep head / wannabe edm superstar always bash people who point out flaws and provide deep and valid feedback? it's way more effective and educational to teach people how subtractive / wavetable synthesis work instead of making then memorize values and positions inside one individual synth. The production board is browsed by some serious heads with some serious production skills, the standards are pretty high. It's obvious that people will expect more from youtube tutorial threads. Think Seamless' tutorials, for example.

Here's a tutorial I did on making an 8 bit synth in Massive, almost identical to the one heard in the new tune by Crizzly and AFK "Chain Hang Low"
if you like this tutorial be sure to like, comment and share.. Thanks for watching everyone. I've also decided to give this one out for free download so I will post the link below.. (YOU MUST HAVE THE NEW VERSION OF MASSIVE TO RUN THIS PATCH)
