maybe you got shit duck where you from but i've literally never had one bout of food poisoning from duck

in fact, the only time i've ever been seriously affected by a meat i've eaten, as in zero to very very not hero in about 5minutes was pork, from a dodgy uncooked pork dumpling i ate on my first day in thailand

thats it, so it might be my stomach, but seriously, i eat duck quite a bit (considering the average family wont eat it once in a year i reckon) and i eat it when its red in the middle and am fine

red meat shouldn't really give you any problems at all

Apparently it's hard to cook duck to get it just right. I've never cooked it myself though
