Yes this x 1000, so many artists just put a load of shit tunes togther with 1 amazing tune and call it an album. For instance skream outside the box. I love fields of emotions and i love the way, but the rest is trash. Don't get me started on bengas affro wariorr, 26baselines is a good track but the rest are pants. Theres 1 track on there that has a proper nice start all fast n jazzy for first min then the track just turns to shit.

i don't think he's quite grasped the idea of punctuation yet.
or the use of paragraphs.
or sentences for that matter.

Its completely vocalized and conceptional, with the hope that it'll be a listen start > finish album running deep through it (like all my EPs).

Thats how I listen to music so that is how I write it. I guess it just depends on who is buying/listening/writing the music.
Yeah i guess youre right maybe some people dont even have the attention span to sit through an entire album.. lol

on vinyl record or even on cassette tape, you would just listen to it from start to end, CD's gave us the luxury to skip tracks, then the mp3 players filled with teraoctets of music finished the job
surely that's why all singles/EP are CD-only releases?

but surely most singles/EPs these days are bought as digital formats, when they are bought at all, bearing in mind nowadays most "normal" people dont even buy music at all, they just stream it from youtube or spotify or whatever (not even mentionning the torrenting crowd)

people still buying hard copies are a very small minority now i reckon, point being someone who just bought an LP on wax and goes home to listen to it for the first time will most probably listen to it from start to finish, while i do think when you're listening to mp3's or to a CD you're much more likely to skip a track if you dont feel it at first (also raises the issue of how internet culture of instant gratification has drastically reduced our attention span, but thats another debate)

anyway, was just trying to make the point that the demise of albums has probably as much to do with the way the music industry evolved these last 20 years or so, and the way it changed people's listening habits
