You should check 'em out, some quality tunes in there. I'm a huge fanboy, can't mention dubstep without praising his production lol. The bassline in the verse to Like This is like, the most dope thing I've ever heard. Dat sub man.
Yeh I love the mixtapes/podcasts NSD put out but Skisms are the best.

This. Fucking. Guy. Will be the next big thing to EDM.

Idk his stuff always sounds rushed to me, like he never full fleshes out songs...one of the downsides to being a savant I guess...unless that's an act he's putting on, which I suspect as he seems to be able to function enough mentally to play gigs. I might be biased too because his face creeps me out.

I've heard he has ADD and something else which makes him capable of finishing ideas faster and stuff

He's an actual Savant. He can think of a song in seconds and finish it in hours. He retains anything he learns about music like a sponge.

The reason I question it is because from what I could find there are only about 50 known savants in the world. And I also question the ability of someone with autism to play music in front of a large group of people without having a complete mental breakdown...idk he's a bizarre dude.

He's releasing his 5th album this year on 12/12/12. I don't think you could name another "normal" producer that does that.

He has Asperger's, not autism. Meaning he's "high functioning". Doing something you love in front of people usually calms any stressors. Plus I'm sure his mask helps with any anxiety.

I think he's a badass producer, but he samples from Skrillex a stupid amount. And I'm sure Centipede inspired him to make Deadweight.

Haha, have you ever seen the questionnaire and test they use to diagnose aspergers? It's jokes how insanely broad and common the 'symptoms' are.
Anyway I thought it was a DJ Wanka type pisstake, so it's not then? Maybe I didn't pick up on the trolling, these videos are the first I've seen/heard about him.

exactly. the problem with autism spectrum disorders is that they are incredibly hard to accurately diagnose. I don't know who this guy is but where are people getting the information that he has ADHD and can finish a song in 5 minutes after thinking about it for 14 seconds? who is making this stuff up.

<rant> Sorry to navigate back to the zomboy subject, but fuck me, that's just horrible. The resemblance between all of the tunes is uncanny. Another reason why everything dubstep is going to shit. No originality these days. Everyones just another knock off of some other producer. And the cycle rinses and repeats every year.

Something like this shouldn't make me sad, but it honestly, 100% does.

The scene is going to hell. Literally up in flames. Last week when I went to go see datsik (should have expected this), there was a fucking mosh. Seriously...a fucking...mosh. I've never been so furious in my life. Just a bunch of shirtless assholes with "swag" beanies & "DUBSTEP 4 LYFE" shirts pushing around like fuck nuts.

We might as well hand over the genre to Krewella, Klaypex, Adventure Club, Alvin Risk, and every other shitty artist on monstercat or some shit.

I remember when this genre had vibe. Now...what the fuck. </rant>

Also, I do realize what im talking about is a small percentage of what makes up dubstep now, but it's still the "popular" percentage, and it rustles my jimmies. Also, I've been reading too many UKF comments and this is the pent up rage from that as well.

dry your tears son, most people in this thread agree that the only song that's as similiar as you make them out to be is the one part in deadweight. It's a shit track and tbh it's just the one progression but I agree it's a little too close and he should have changed it. The other ones arent even worth mentioning though, you can find a lot of different EDM tracks that sound a lot closer, only reason people react is coz its zomboy this time.

About dubstep and moshing though, as an old metalhead/hardcore kid I'm as appaled by this as you are. It's retarded, and monstercat is shit. But, there are worse artists than zomboy imo.

Savant is proof that if you just churn out track after track you get good
