so are you suggesting music from computer and synth chips ismt chip tune
cos in the broader context of music (everything) its what woulkd be called chip tune as it has sounds made by a computer on it
mozart didnt have computer hence why he isnt chiptune

y know wot im saying tho

Chiptune can be made either with a program, keeping the track to bare minimal voices and using just saws, squares and triangles. (And noise.)
Or by modifying old video gaming consoles audio chips to be used as instruments on Gameboys, and other modified handheld platforms that can use audio chips.

Popular programs/trackers for producing chiptune are: LSDJ, Milky Tracker, Nanoloop (I use that sometimes), and a lot of Chiptuners even make their own software.

This is unrelated kind of but I have a big EP of Chiptune tracks I made... And I'm too nervous to release it to anyone because I think it may be not as good as most of the music I listen to... But I think I have something most Chiptuners don't.... Very very very very emotional and pretty melodies that are unlike most of what anyone has heard.

I'm still just too nervous to post it anywhere. I want to. But I just don't know where to post it or anything like that..
Keep progressing, one day you'll be great. :)
