Theres just a huge amount of Israeli turbo cheese and over zealous dark psy cult goons that really give it a bad rep.

Theres a middle ground however.
In particular the more progressive side of psy; Like older Ticon, Freq, Atmos, Gaudium, Midi Miliz etc.

There is some really really shit Psy Trance out there - and it seems to be getting shitter by the day. As soon as psytrance producers started performing live with bands it was only going one way...

PROPER psytrance is more concerned with the monotonous vibrations of the pulsing kick drum and monotone bassline - from a mediative perspective.

Im no crustie, but i do know that proper psy trance is few and far between.
and I haven't heard any decent stuff for years

.... and I prefer dubstep :lol:
