Question: Why are there so many threads asking about Massive lately? On the 1st page we have FM8 vs Massive, Synth to compliment Massive, Supplementing Massive, NI Massive envelope re trigger and now this Q&A. It's been around for years, surely people know all about it by now?

Might have a purge and just merge everything into a single Massive thread & be damned with it.

noobs crack massive, have nothing invested in it, don't read manual, don't learn, don't care, feel entitled to immediate answers = stupid threads on forums

:z:

I feel the same when I read 90% of "How Do I Make This Sound..." style threads. Half of me just wants to put 'how would you do it if there was no Internet?' as a response and move on.

Same with the "Got new DAW best way to learn etc" style threads. If I'd bought a new car, I wouldn't ask someone else for the best way to drive it. I'd just get out there and start putting the thing around corners and see what happens.

I think i probably spent more time reading Logics manual in the first year than i did actually making music.
Also isn't it about time massive was overhauled and a new version released? They should start designing the post dubstep synth,be all about organic sound design rather than ruining teenagers eardrumz!

25 Massive Heavy Bass Presets

Howdy ho folks! Just a shameles self plug here - I just released a neuro bass pack that you can download for just a tenner. After the crazy amounts of people that downloaded my free pack (see sig), I thought it woud be a good idea to make a pack with 25 bass sounds containing carefully mapped macros ensuring many creative uses for each preset. No folder full of the same patch with a different wavetable - full on unique sounds, all 25 of them.

I sincerely hope you guys like it! http://virtualinstrumentsounds.com/?page_id=327

i don't know if any of you guys watch one piece the anime but there's a new bad guy who's an alpaca that shoots cannonballs out his mouth :D pretty funny stuff!
anyway these presets suck they sound like massive with just 1 or 2 modulations.. too plastic sounding, neurobasses aren't meant to sound like that
