Definitely entering this. Got a sick growl bass, decent snare, kick, and hi hats and some nice sweeps and such already. Loving this!

Found some surprisingly solid sections to sample from that pants on the ground recording, still going to distort, pitch and chop the hell out of it though

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 38
Gosh, why didn't anybody warn me that it was gonna be this difficult
.

Re: DSF SAMPLE PACK COMPETITION - 38
after being incredibly frustrated over the last few days, i am pretty excited with how much this competition is pushing my production knowledge/skills.
took me two days to finally be happy with a kick and snare
finally in business

Perfection is achieved, not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away.

Could always have tried starting with a non-drum element?dougriley wrote:took me two days to finally be happy with a kick and snare
Part of the challenge is forcing you outside your comfort zone, this pack is excellent for that.ljk32 wrote:Gosh, why didn't anybody warn me that it was gonna be this difficult.
