I remember that whole catfood thread! Wow... seriously though it's not stealing unless they use the exact same words as you and you already had that slogan on a product of your own. It still wouldn't be stealing if they took the exact same words from your signature and made it a slogan.

Hey jonahmann. Have you been feeling oddly upbeat and active lately? Perhaps sleeping less and feel pretty good about yourself?

Re: Marketing types stealing my ideas again :|
When i was a kid i was reading up on how a TV works, by firing electrons at high speed to hit a tube. So i thought, if they go that fast, why not fire subatomic particles out of a spaceship as a form of propulsion, theoretically accelerating a craft to near the speed of light.
It turns out that there was already a theoretical drive called the ion propulsion drive. They must have stolen it from my mind, i see no other way that NASA could have invented such technology.

OP's some of the most stupid shit I read on this forum. Ever. And that's something to achieve.

Re: Marketing types stealing my ideas again :|
i still dont know whether to believe hes just trolling us or he actually believed NI copped that idea from him lol. thats some delusional shit god damn. not even just like your typical stoner paranoia thinking like the cops could tap your phone and you dont wanna talk about drugs on the phone lol. but this is just way left field.
Re: Marketing types stealing my ideas again :|
Jonahmann I hope you read this and I haven't walked into some kind of strange new form of trolling. Putting myself out there and shit to help you.....
That shit your seeing is a message... trying to grab your attention, from something bigger that my understanding. It's like destiny saying "Dude how big, smart and powerful am I to make all these coincidences happen". The more you try to ignore it the louder and more in your face that shit will get.
Just as not every person you meet has your best interests at heart, not all of what ever "destiny" is has your happiness in mind. They can be like school bully, if they see weakness in your mind they will fuck with you because they find it funny.
I see that people also see what I see but say nothing and so I. Silence is your friend.
ah your work it out. I'm reminded as I write this "WFT do I know" lol

I suspect trolling. But I'll bite...sorta.
Wouldn't it be more likely that NI stole it from "Addicted to Audio"? This company has been around for 25 years. It's much closer to Addicted to Sound than Addicted to Absynth.
Even more likely, there was a magazine in the 90s called Addicted to Noise that was kinda like the Computer Music Magazine of those days. It was right around when the internet was really starting to take off. I think it was Jon Luini that kicked it off and for a few years it was one of the most visited sites on the internet. That is until it was ran into the ground after MTV got a hold of it. Fuck you MTV.
I would say these 2 possibilities are 99.9999999999% more likely than them stealing it from an unknown person on a forum. Of course it's also possible someone on the marketing team just blurted it out and everyone just said, "Yea that works".
