went with ruined because I like Well Done, not medium-well.
Food poisoning's fucked me over too much.

But tbh, I don't like stake very much anyway.

Almost medium rare... more on the rare side. Depends if I'm cooking it or at a restaurant though. If I went to a butchers and did it all myself then more on the rare side.
And yes to searing.

How about sauces? I've always went by the saying 'if you need sauce, you're not doing it right'.
I might have a bit of HP or something as a dip, but I consider it ruined when it comes with the sauce on it, or was cooked with sauce on it. Not marinated, that's alright. I mean the fuckers who brush BBQ sauces all over shit as it cooks.

word, if its cooked in a sauce it's done wrong. imo nothing more than oil, pepper, salt before you throw it in the pan/grill.

if it's a good steak then you don't need sauce after either, if its a meh steak then some A1 is nice
