E-mu 0404 PCI user here and can deffo vouch for the sound quality. 0202 external uses the exact same circuits I'm fairly certain.

problems were actually with the firepod. shit like logic not seeing the firepod unless u switch it off and on again AFTER booting up logic. not too serious, but irritating. dont know if the same is true with the firebox tho.

anyone got the apogee duet? been reccomend over the firebox, but costs more. looks beautiful, but i guess thats not really the point. anyone using it and happy? with logic?
