The production is what im worried about, Im pretty confident on the mixing side of things.

and like I said bro..
I think my issue is that the tune is my least favorite of Peter Gabriel tunes and I cant get passt my bias....
nevermind me,

Hmm, maybe this is an artifact from myspace? To me the bass sounds just as weighty as any other dubby tune, and the drums nice and consistent.Whineo wrote:Id have to agree with Fester on this one
The arrangement, production, idea is great - It works really really well - and has a really nice feel to it.
But there is very little weight to the bass and the drums seem to fluctuate in and out of the mix somewhat.
not far off tho mate
I doubt there is something wrong with the mix, I've been doing it for years.
Heres my studio where I mix all the tracks:

(fully calibrated room & ssl) - Im pretty confident about what i'm hearing.
I was looking for some criticism on the creative elements of the track, as the only thing I feel could be wrong with the production is that the vocal is extremely poorly stretched and glitches in parts - which nobody seemed to pick up on.

Maby the mp3 encoding is causing thisOwnWorstEnemy wrote: maybe this is an artifact from myspace? To me the bass sounds just as weighty as any other dubby tune, and the drums nice and consistent.
Listened to it on Alesis M1s and then on my flatmates Mackie HR824's
Like I said nothing wrong with the creative side just saying what I'm hearing.
But its all subjective anyway
