anyone ever played Werewolf for 8-bit?
never got very far, but i loved the music.

besides that, i'd have to agree w/ castlevania and legend of zelda

It's sad, but if someone played me a track from one of
the old Sonic titles, I could probably tell you the level.


Those games WERE my childhood. :o

Have to agree with "Rusko"... Arkanoid was a baaad game with some tuff music alongside.

Actually, I used to take a lot of samples from old school coin-op video games, love that crunchy 8bit sound!!!!

A few of my own personal favourites were:

Kung-Fu Master
Gauntlet I
Dragon's Lair
Galaxian
1942

Also we used to have a Mario Brothers pinball machine actually in the studio, which made a few appearances on tracks, deliberately or otherwise !!!

all about having the emulated synths as well as the midi.. you can redo the midi yourself its those grainy digital synths your after

Hell yeah. No probably about it for me, I could still whistle them all to you!

Scrap Brain Zone on Sonic 1 for Master System had QUALITY music.

I've got the master system sitting about somewhere too, and that tune is getting sampled.

Also, Galaxy Force for Master System had some tunes.
