Don't get people who say they like Burial but are proper peeved with the 9 minute tunes he puts out. Like, it's just Burial but longer.
Maybe doesn't bother me so much because if I'm listening to Burial, odds are I'm listening to a whole album/EP and not just one tune here and there, but other than that, can't see why it would bother people that much.
Edit: Not on about people who just thought it was crap, just those that seem to take issue with the length and nothing else.

yeah Truant/ Rough Sleeper was a fuckin masterpiece . it's not DJ or dancefloor friendly, but that's part of what makes it great. it's perfect for late night train rides or long distance drives, painting sessions, etc. i dont know why you would write something off by somebody like Burial without even hearing it....

I don't care about new Nickelback because Nickelback bores me. I don't care about new Burial because Burial has started to bore me.
Now get your panties untangled.

seriously though, you're the one bitching about something you didn't even listen to yet.
i don't get why you wouldn't even give it a chance, considering you once rated his work. there are a lot of producer's out there whose recent stuff didn't do anythign for me, but i would still wait and check out the tunes first before i post some negative shit.

big up to burial coming out with consistent tunes but i'd definitely say truant/rough sleeper is my least favorite ep of his. it felt forced.

Nope. I pointed out my disinterest in it. It may be a return to form, but by now he's exhausted my willingness to give it a try.
