Yeah, I have the shaved head + beard atm. I put very little thought into it other than my friends will all get a cheap lol from the beard when I next return home.
I've had the shaved head for over a decade now..

See Agent 47, it's an ironic look.

Has the meaning of irony changed in recent years? Serious question. It used to mean things like an animal rights protester having their throat ripped out by a rabbit or a gambling addict getting murdered due to one killer betting another that they wouldn't do it. Did it get changed because America couldn't understand it and it made them feel stupid?

No, in this context, people stupid attempt to adopt a stupid look which makes them look even more stupid because they have found a look that matches their intellect, only they think by doing so has the reverse effect.
That's the irony.
I'm not suggesting that your haircut and beard makes you look stupid.

OK but I just looked up examples of irony and got this -
Example: A person who claims to be a vegan and avoids meat but will eat a slice of pepperoni pizza because they are hungry. It may not make sense, but it is an illustration of irony.
Example: A man who is a traffic cop gets his license suspended for unpaid parking tickets.
Example: An ambulance driver goes to a nightime bike accident scene and runs over the accident victim because the victim has crawled to the center of the road with their bike.
Imo, one is, one isn't and one is close but not really..

Only the 2nd example is a definition of irony, the first one is an example of a dumb fuck and the third one is a shame.
