That's not how justice work. He thought she was an intruder, so it was not on purpose. His gun was legal and he had a license for it, so he didn't break that law.

Yeah, it's a shame he killed her, but he didn't planned it. It's just a accident and that happens. Not a reason for destroying his life.

lol wtf
he didn't know if it was an intruder or not as he shot through the god damn door. maybe he didn't intent on murdering her, but it's still voluntary manslaughter. and the fact that the gun was legal or not is of no interest imo

Equally that's not how justice works either, if someones shot dead you have to treat it as a possible murder case and properly investigate it, especially when theres reports of screaming/arguing prior to it.

Saying his guns legal and giving him a slap on the wrist because he said it was an accident isn't justice.

First, that's not what i've said. And second, you never know that an intruder has a gun, so you don't know if he's posing a threat. Third, i'm also anti gun possession, but that doesn't mean we have to forget how justice works.

Yeah, he did stupid things, but those mistakes were all part of the accident. And also understandable. Give the man 5 years and take away his gun license, that's okay, but not twenty years for something he didn't want.

bruv he killed an unarmed women who was on the other side of a door to him and you think he should only get 5 years in prison

its not acceptable to shoot someone just because you don't know who they are and think they are a threat, thats what the police are for lol

It's the fact she was in the bathroom. Did he think the intruder had stopped robbing to take a shit?

FYI guys, it was his girlfriend.

Chances are it will be manslaughter because we don't have 2nd degree murder here and I don't think he'll be convicted of murder.
Basically this seems to be a case of Pistorius being trigger happy and having major anger issues based on historical evidence.

It would seem he did not plan to kill her so it can't be seen as premeditated.
He's guilty of murder but not in the judicial sense.
