I expected to be alone on a chilled out mix lol, I dunno how anybody can listen to hype stuff in the mornings.. takes me a good hour of quiet TV in bed with a pint of coffee before I'm even ready to get up.
My idea of morning radio pretty much is a chilled out sunday vibe

Yeah, this. Thought you and Johoosh were the only ones that took that on board, in terms of the theme.

I took the chat about the "alarm" theme to be noisy, abrupt, pretty hype so went with that. Something to wake you up immediately rather than gradually wake up to.

the thread was originally titled 'wake up alarm'.. kind of a wack theme really so doesn't matter that it changed, enjoyed all the mixes so far anyway

reckon johoosh might have this one in the bag. will give them all another play through in the morning before deciding

Johoosh, hands down
Johney's mix reminded me of being completely munted at bangface and not knowing what the fuck is going on

Oh.. I only really read your comment about it being your own interpretation of 'morning radio'.

This was tough. In the end went for Muncey and Johoosh.
Honourable mentions to DJoe, Pete and OG Lemon though. On the whole another quality little selection from everyone! Already looking forward to the next one.

If I was gonna defend I wanted to defend it properly, and I just didn't have enough time to come out with a proper mix. I do have a mix, but it's not winner material at all
glad to see johoosh and riddles being favourites, they are my two picks for worthy successors
