They ain't gonna charge for SoundCloud dude.
Personally, I don't think this is the worst thing it the world tbh. I'd rather Twitter buy SoundCloud than Google lol. They'd prob force Google+ on everyone and all that shiz.

Seems that Twitter's stock has fallen off at least 50% this year - no wonder they're groping for a silver bullet. Maybe the reserves are running low.
But am glad that they decided "the numbers don't add up" whatever that means. SC should pursue its own organic evolution and not tie an albatross like Twitter 'round its neck.

yh love soundcloud. its great on my phone cas i dont have to store music in it and dont have spotify premium so i can basically listen to my fave trax for free on the go. it would be nice if u could create a playlist without adding it on your page lol

Re: Twitter: The Next AOL?
Does a playlist count against your total time? I'm getting fucked, have to delete old songs, and the only place they reliably exist is on sc. I was wondering if my reposts and playlists count against my time...?

Whatsapp is on billions of phones worldwide. Pure surveillance move. Fb sells more private data to governments than credit card companies.Muncey wrote:Better investment than facebook buying whatsapp for £11bn or whatever it was.

TOTALLY! God, that's annoying. Especially when I'm try'na make a bootyknockin' mix fi muh lady. Don't want to share that with the world - too much potential for unwanted babies and whatnot.topmo3 wrote:yh love soundcloud. its great on my phone cas i dont have to store music in it and dont have spotify premium so i can basically listen to my fave trax for free on the go. it would be nice if u could create a playlist without adding it on your page lol

Facebook's product is YOU. They sell YOU to anyone with the coin. It's like digital Soylent Green.

Only your uploads add to your time, and topmo should look into what you're doing.nowaysj wrote:I have private playlists, btw.

Re: Twitter: The Next AOL?
Yes. Less transparency. The Facebook model.Twitter has taken the unusual step of shutting off its datapipe to certain companies that have published their own stats on how big Twitter's user base really is, according to two sources.
The move comes after Twitter's stock was hammered in the early part of the year when investors discovered growth in monthly active users (MAUs) was slowing or stagnant, and that measures of engagement per user were on the decline.
