Yeah, never really was into sampling, apart from using one shots or a line from a movie or something. Maybe a kick or a snare sometimes. But when I started listening to movie and game soundtracks more I started to hear all kinds of shit you can use. Man, the sub you get from some filtered down parts of a symphony orchestra are amazing. Just like using a shitload of effects on snippets from melodies, violin parts, etc. Really cool.

haha, same for me. can't watch a movie without hearing some good "samples" for new tracks.
yeah, for the drums i always use one shot samples.

Yeah, txh man. Trying to keep it up, but with a new all-consuming job that's quite a challenge. Haven't made any new tunes for months now. :|
