I bumped into him in the toilets at the deep medi xmas skank and asked him for advice about the music industry, he said to me:
"RKM, it takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to your enemies, but a great deal more to stand up to your friends".

that was a year and a half ago now but I don't think i'll ever forget that advice.

i ran into the man himself in the brent cross holland & barrett, the pulses aisle iirc, he looked at me but really he looked through me, you know? and he said "it's better to burn out, than fade away"

i paid for my goods and left, but it made me forget the manuka honey which was my original purpose
