just counted my copper jar and have counted £265, still 1`s and 2`s to go and its all going towards my ttm 56! :D

so what i`m gettin at is now...

wheres the best place to get 1, chemical..?

yeah chemicals good, seems to be the cheapest in the uk for most equipment. i got my mixer from this place in germany though and it was cheaper than chemical http://www.thomann.de/gb/index.html

ive been considering the urei 1601e for a while now but im undecided between that and the pioneer djm 400.
what are peoples experiences with the djm 400?
im looking for a mixer with high sound quality, good eqs, a quality fx section and smooth faders for scratching.
atm im leaning more towards the djm 400 purely because of its sample function.
