Well, SWIM torrented massive for use with their DAW. SWIM plans on using it until SWIM makes money, then SWIM will buy massive when SWIM a) has a decent income or b)makes $100 solely with music.

Massive can be used to make almost any type of sound, that's why it's so awesome. And the modulation is through the roof.

I see 3 osc mentioned in this thread - is that a joke or what? You can't do shit with a synth like that in comparison to Massive, unless you're including DAW automation and long FX chains.

Have you actually spent any time with Massive? It's a genius piece of software. There's plenty of non-brostep artists that use it too, it's good for more than just screeching bass sounds. The interface and intuitiveness of it are really what makes it great, beyond the sounds it can generate.

Why would I spend ten times as long tweaking shit in 3xOsc, adding effects, then resampling etc etc to make an inferior sound to something I could make in less than a minute using Massive? Never in my life did I imagine there would be Fruity stock plug-in elitists lol.

Because its one of the easiest to pirate and one of the most stable when pirated.

Even the bugs with the cracked version can be fixed with a simple google.
