tru tru nirz. the good old days were when there weren't as many users i guess, you can't have it both ways. i'm a new user myself although i've watched various blogs and forums, just never got into msn-ing or any of that, like night deposit this is the first forum i've actually joined... apart from mudd up but you have to be careful there... seems to me though that more people being passionate about dubstep is probably a good thing, even if it does mean a bit of ruffhouse here and there... what scene doesn't have arguments (rather than nice big boi discussions) over it? we're still babies...
got man mad now
now i can't rhyme
things get sour like
lemon and peach

KION: Hope you understand that my "vinyl or get the fuck out" commet wasn't in the slightest bit to be taken seriously, as I thought I had already covered in the original thread???
As long as we dont get "negativity" mixed up with un-PC im down with this.
Because Political Correctness has jus produced more confusion

Alright, fairplay to some of you... most, in fact...
but there are still a couple of you who think I was in the wrong for posting about a specific musical taste that I have... clearly, judging by several PM's I received that agreed I had done nothing wrong--I wasn't.
Go back and read the thread. From the subject itself, I said that it was an out of character post for me.
IMMEDIATELY, people were taking shots at me and my musical taste(in bad form, really). Do you expect me to not defend myself? Do you expect me to just have people run their mouth about me, about something I am passionate about--and sit there and take it? Hell, no.
Nobody said anything to the person who was talking shit on my nationallity(racism, classism, fascism, ism-ism?)...
You really need to think about who was in the wrong, there... I posted about music, plain and simple. It was not meant to be a negative topic, it was not meant to turn into a fight. I didn't turn it into one. And it's not just we NEW people to this forum doing that. One of the people who was trying to be "director of the dubstep" and saying "wah wah... I don't want people who like dark whiny music to be getting into dubstep"... that person has been here for a WHILE. That is the most disturbing part. For being a genre that is so "laid back" some people actually seek out arguments with me. The deliberately say things that they know will cause an argument.
I'm the type of person that wishes to gain respect. At the point I know that you will never respect me, I either kick your ass or ignore you--but it's not ME who makes that decision, it's the person who keeps running their mouth. If we were outside of a club and someone disrespected me like that, I would curb stomp them. You think that is an AMERICAN thing? People get stomped and stabbed up outside of pubs in the UK all the time.
Anyone who is stereotyping America, or tossing about societal slurs should be banned.
Perhaps I shouldn't have responded the way I did, to the ignorance that I was issued--but it was plainly obvious that noone was going to stand up for me, but me.
There are 4 forums here, all of them for dubstep--this is the one that most people post off-topic discussion in. I said it was off topic, I said it was out of character--I was in the right. I'm very sorry that I let certain people get to me, my response is my own fault. Next bit of Tool info I have, I'll be posting it here again. Judging by the PM's I got(which was MANY) there are some Tool fans here.
