fair enough, its multitrack audio editing with all the other DAW bits bolted on over the years to varying degrees of success.
you would have to have a few screws loose to want to produce entirely in ProTools.

Cubase was pretty easy to learn too, especially when it comes to "traditional" recording.

The people you'll be slowly executing in the gulags will be using flstudio, you should stick with logic.

I run Sunvox + outside bits into ProTools and then edit to my hearts content, been trying to get out of some habits and build stuff entirely in Sunvox though. Used to build environments in Max but can't justify the cycling74 cash grab now.

Also, do you guys have any good video tutorial series you would recommend watching? I've kinda just been picking random ones on YT that seem helpful

i started on garageband and personally i think it gave me a good idea of how producing in general works, and it's great for composing imo, because there's not much stuff to get you distracted.

how about posting in the right sub forum to begin with? you've been here long enough you fucking moron. Also, regardless of that, you should know that there are already millions of topics covering this subject on the right board. nothing a simple search couldn't bring up. Google could've had an answer for you in minutes but your fuckwit brain didn't think this through.SCope13 wrote:hifi wrote:you're an idiot because you think you can't get fl on osx
