It was pressed at Record Industry like most Medi (I don't know how long they've been using 'em exactly). I hope you just got a dodge copy and its not a shitty run, that'll be awful.

Usually on point!

mate I got AT LEAST 20 heavily warped records. and 6 of them were brand new orders from Hardwax. don't let DHL handle your records in summer.
rest are mainly discogs purchases. new Innamind (mikael) came warped aswell... :(

Coki - Haymaker/Revolutions - sounds really bad, so bassless it's ridiculous (Revolutions is a bit better, but still bad
i regret missing out on Marduk and getting this instead

Coki - burnin for me doesn't sound great, the bass just sounds badly defined, clashes with te bass kick way too much.

I'm curious if the guy on discogs sold me a bootleg of this as well, does anyone else's have marijuana written on it instead of burnin?

Plate 1 of Kryptic Minds Namaste EP sounds off to me. As if someone put a bandpass on it.

No problems with nr 2 though

burnin is a bootleg...

i've bought whitelabels in past that had no writing on, could be case for you here, if so previous owner could have written what he knew the tune as at the time

sounds just like coki did a shit mixdown haha, bare want this record

Ah fair enough, it's still worth it to buy it's not terrible. Mine doesn't sound good turned up cos of the bass kick sounding too much but that could also be partly my speakers fault. I still play it all the time it's just fun to mix and wheel when you're drinking before a night out.

My copy of asbo001 was warped a bit but played fine, weighted it down for a couple weeks and now its flatter than rihannas voice.

ez all.

since my first dubplate i'm having trouble cueing up with the first sound coming in. it keeps jumping and this happens just with dubplates.

anyone has an idea what the problem might be? maybe because of a ''sharp'' transient as the first sound?
already thought of doing a 4-bar-metronom-intro for the dubs.

does that with mine sometimes, its annoying when you have to mix a couple of bars in. i was considering a metronome too you know.

i don't have any experience with dubplates, but first things that came to mind were
a) center hole is too big
b) the groove is already worn out by constant back and forth pushing at the cue point.

nope - happens even when played for the first few times.
don't think the center hole's too big - their quality dubs outta transition and it just happens with too many dubs - a too big coincidence.

i think i've read somewhere that kick drums on the first beat become pretty hard to cue on acetates as they get worn out cos of the bass making the needle skip or sumat, duno if they're awkward earlier on too
