for the one’s who haven’t seen the video yet - in 2014 I had the chance to play on a new sound system called 4DSOUND. I did three performances - the first one of which the video is about and two more during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event. You can have a look in my timeline or just go through my pictures from this year for more information.
I strongly recommend to use headphones while watching the video!

you can also have a listen to the whole set on my sound cloud:

here a little collection of things I found out during the last 7 years, part one:
- if your hotel room smells bad, ask for another one! you will not be able to sleep properly.
- I always carry earplugs (classic ones to sleep with) and eye-shades for a better sleep.
- your equipment always needs to be hand luggage. use the smallest bag you can find so that airlines don't weigh your luggage (I carry 12kg with me, that's too much for hand luggage - its a little bit of a gamble, but my bag looks tiny)
- don't forget to drink enough water

and some other advice:
- a liveset(-up) is an instrument and as this it needs practice
- don't be afraid of making mistakes on stage - people like to hear that tension that only "live" creates. if somethings goes wrong: go on, 90% will not recognize this.
- the day after the day after (usually tuesday) is the worst, that's normal

- for every subtance you take you have to pay a bill afterwards, exept the one's your body needs to function. take care that the balance between profit and lost doesn't go on the wrong side.
we are social-, not consumption-creatures!
