:o Belgium's Chief Wiggum like nobody's business. Granted I only went to one show in Brussels but we can't do anything like that in the States. The casual attitude reminded me of illegal parties back home.

I just stumbled upon this - you lucky bastards! being able to smoke in the bar/club EVER musta been nice! we've had cigarettes banned indoors anywhere here for years. I've been blazin' for a minute, and I won't be puttin' her down anytime soon because I can't blaze in a club. I'm used to pre-rolled & take a quick jaunt - nice lil social episode yeh. maybe chat up a lass ;)

ok i'll start.....

... the prob is it means that you miss a large portion of the nights music cos your outside smoking, this is also the time that you most want to be inside as its usually just when you start vibing and youve got a few beers in your gut that you want a smoke. thus the amount of people who are outside missing .... say.. dmz playing @ dmz is just astounding.

yeh yeh its "social" and all that, and we all like to natter, but when you pay up to say a tenner to go listen sum tunes it can get a bit like "am i paying to stand outside"

also it has led to more "jump-up style" tunes to keep people inside, and also to stop the dj himself aching for a spliff you often get straight mixing from one tune to another with no "breathe" time and a lack of eg second drops etc as discussed in another thread.

Essentially the "original dubstep experience" can only now be experienced in squat raves or raves in say holland or belgium etc... as what initally made the scene what it is, is no longer happening on the dancefloors of the uk.

I mean its a bit stupid playing Coki's Burnin Refix in a club where you can't smoke even a ciggy.

I often get in a club and instantly get that feeling i can only ever remeber having in school where you feel like a total leper for wanting a smoke.

Clubs used to be a place where you cud literally do what ya like and it was all good, now its like your gran has decided what your clubbing experience shud be like.

I think all clubs shud (as standard procedure) place on there flyer what the smoking situation is at that venue and if it has S.L.S (Same Level Smoking)

I miss billing and smoking on the dancefloor so much, when I went to house party I went into overdrive lol I was ruined

When you're horribly lean up is when a tune like Hunter comes into its own

you dont get the rush, but in some ways its better, 'cause it lasts longer and you get more stoned during the night. Its what we did at the custard factory :DFun

Can be a bit overpowering though, remember being unable to get out of a chair after someone gave me one at a party years back. More bang for your buck though definitely.
Hmm....

LOL out loud too

but isn't it easier to bun a quick crack pipe before the bouncers get you? Then you probably feel like you have the strength of ten wastemen and can just run round the dance till they give up?

Big ups to long tunes with a 2nd drop that give the dj time to hide under the decks or run outside for a quick spliff... Matty G's Silver & Gold usually means I'm having a spliff under the decks
