Perhaps "semi-pro" instead of "second rate"?

I AM SORRY IF I OFFENDED ANYONE

Naughty Festa!

;)

Fave pluggins, innit?

Off the top of my head:

My UAD card's LA 2A for thick vocals and the RE 201 for delay and sproingy spring.

My SSL Duende for channel strip and quad comp.

All the PSP plugins.

*Secret thing I'm not telling you about*

Logic's space designer.

Logic's delay designer.

Logic's bit crusher.

Classik Studio Reverb, a plug I tell people about constantly.

*Another secret thing I'm not telling you about*

No Waves stuff, because the company is cunty with their upgrade path, I don't have any space for extra USB dongles. I wonder how many people on this board proudly say "Yeah, I use Waves man, wikkid innit", yet don't have an iLok.

;)

I worked in a studio with the waves diamond bundle

I've used the C4 on the master channel, but I was recording an album for a rock band.

Do you think someone could use entirely freeware and still get a fairly professional sound going? Or is that way too optimistic?

I think a good AE could get a fantastic sound out of super minimal gear.

We all make lists of our shit on here, yet somebody with good ears could kick all our arses with way less plug ins and toys.

:)

I think you could, but you'd have to have the golden ears to do it.

My balls are enourmous. See how I can swing them around and from side to side? Can yours do that? Can you knock one ball against the other so that they tap back and forth? I can. I can sit on my balls if I feel uncomfortable, I can use my balls for self defense if someone attacks me. I can play tennis with my balls, and even pour beer with them. My balls generate subsonic frequencies, do yours? I thought not. I have to have my balls insured, would anyone even look twice at your balls? Hey everyone, look at my balls!

The usual shit. People focusing on what they have and don't have, instead of making music.

are you dumb?
so unprofessional
u need reason fx

BWAHAHA

ahhh junior

both fruity and reason are second rate software suites, best suited for rewiring into a proper sequencer that can handle highr bit depths

so before you go on and attack, you should know what the hell you are talking about
Festz is right in the world of 'pro audio' fl studio and reaosn are pretty much on par

i think the point is not whether professional music can be made on these platforms but that Blizz should calm down and not lash out at people using fl cos hes on reason (especially when hes attempting to boast about the 'professional' DD1 delay module)

get hold of a 'pro audio' uad/pro tools delay compare the results and then we can all shut up and salivate in amazement

there are reasons some delays are bundled with software and others costs £1000s

i'm sorry pal.
but
in my opinion
reason fx have always been the one for me.
i used to use fruity loops until i thought, i can get on to better shit.
i also like fully parametric eq's. better than a fruity eq, because fruity eq's only go up to like 7 or 9 bands.
Soundcloud
If you like jungle / drum and bass you'll like the above! ;)
