not if you own a ps3...absolutely shocking port. 360 owners are far better off in this department.
from Konami themselves:
"Konami Digital Entertainment is aware that some players of PES2008 are experiencing 'stuttering' by their machine when playing on PS3"
it's not the only one either:
Assassin's Creed - "...a mocking shadow of the Xbox 360 version"
The Orange Box - "The 360 version takes about three seconds to load your last checkpoint if you die. The PS3 version takes seventeen"
Splinter Cell: DA - "...even though the game is belittled so dramatically from a visual perspective, it still manages to run at a lower frame rate than the Xbox 360 version"

if only this were true. GTA is not 360 exclusive. the downloadable content is the only thing that is exclusive. but imo that's enough to make the 360 the better purchase. who knows the limit to what they could add with dl content, new vehicles/weapons/missions/clothes!!
for me the ps3 will be worth buying when the ico/wanda and the colossus team release their game for it. that's the only ps3 exclusive content that excites me. by the time this comes out the machine will likely be retailing for £200 or under.
in terms of the other games available:
I literally haven't got time for final fantasy's.
gran turismo forgets about the key element of games...escapism, something which makes burnout the 1st choice for driving games imho.
i don't really like stealth/multiple ways to complete objectives (linear gaming is such a neglected/misunderstood concept these days), so metal gear isn't the one for me either.
right now i reckon 360 is the way forward. it has a decent catalogue of games, excellent online experience, is almost the same price as a wii(!!) and continues to get games released on it that were originally ps3 exclusive .
