I just always assumed happy hardcore was a joke as is. You can make happy hardcore on the most basic E-jay software. I think that just about sums it up really.

Hey man who cares about happy hardcore, or hardcore, or techno, or that acid house shit.

Dubstep is the beginning.

Peace.

what do you mean?

Dubstep is the beginning man.

Like techno and all that 2 Unlimited stuff - techno, techno, techno! - that was chart shit man. Acid House is what my Dad listens too. Like, that B Mob tune - we call it acieed. Crap! Just gimmick records like I'm A Barbie Girl.

Dubstep has nothing to do with them scenes.

It's like Genesis in the bible man.

Like the first line of a book.

'In a hole there lived a hobbit....'

Sickness.

Are you on the wind up?

That statement is totally retarded. Maybe you should look into the genres a bit more before coming on here and generalising that all techno and acid house is '2 Unlimited' and 'D Mob'

Waste.

Plenty of dubstep draws influence from Techno...

Okay so it's D Mob and not B Mob - big deal dude. I got it wrong. My Dad has it on 7". And okay, so I was taking the liberty of being a little fecicious with the reference to I'm A Barbie Girl.

But, seriously, what does Dubstep have to do with that boom boom techno shit that got played way back in 1997?

Next you'll be saying Tiesto played a part in the scene!

I thought it was before 1997; more like 1977- during the 4th summer of love, when D-Mob went on The Old Grey Whistle Posse Test where Jimmy Saville donned his psychedelic shell suit and got all the teeny boppers at it on happy chappies.

I duno if this is true, i have heard several people say this. But even if Dubstep is slowed down dnb then i couldnt care less. The only thing i care about is the fact i love Dubstep. Allso i hate dnb its way to fast to dance to imo it just sounds crap, the only thing i find that has any merit about dnb is that it is piss easy to mix. Every dnb tune i have heard sounds like the next, like the beat allways seems the same, just with some different samples in them, as apossed to Dubstep you have 4x4 beats half step 2step all the wobbles and different sounding bass sounds, mabe im wrong about my statement on all dnb tunes sounding the same, becoz i have only listened to a little of it. I.E when listening to a garage set or wot not and they decide to start playing dnb, i listen for a bit but just cant handle how crap it sounds, Especilly when you can see the dj playing the dnb, they either sort of stand still no body movement or they bop thier head up and down at 100mph to the beats, makes me crease up
and please dnb heads dont go gettin all offended and pissy bout what i wrote. Coz no offence intended.

Sorry if i missed your point, but if you look at your post its more a comment and doesnt really have a point, you said dubstep is slowed down dnb, and i added my opinion on that, nothing wrong with that, stupid sterrotypes what you on?? Im not stereotyping nothing just telling it how i see it. Same as if some1 said for instanse that the vocal on d1 mind and soul sounds a little chipmonkified. I am allowed to add to that and say well it may sound a little like chipmonk but i still love it, no need to get upset

not that it really matters but it was in response to bottrop's boom boom techno comment, which is a stupid stereotype, along with his technotronic nonsense.

it just turns out my post was badly timed and ended up being on a different page to the one from bot's.

I'm not sure where you are getting the upset idea from really.
