ez man, is more like what people wanna hear, in my eyes constructive criticism is fair nuff, anyway - peace?steppa4ever wrote:im sorry man, thats trueboomnoise wrote:ok i'm going to answer this quickly and concisely.
we had a huge lineup. we wanted to have two absolutely amazing rooms.
i didn't want a room 1 / room 2 hierarchy in place so i mixed it up.
like you say, antisocial smacked it and so did benga. i knew they would in that room.
the sound could have been better yes i agree. i would love to have had a plastic people sound system in there or something similar but it wasn't.
i was running around all night trying to get a soundguy to get that sound pumped up.
that said people were absolutely vibesin non-the-less. and i did speak to a lot of people who loved it.
sorry you weren't feeling it but loads of people did.
you can't please everyone sadly.
but it seems like a mission just to hear anti social in a great system and a nice big room, thier music is like no other right now, and i would ov expected more.
thanks for ur hard work
why da hell did anti social and benga play in ROOM2 las nite

Man the sound system up there wasn't up to scratch but, it never is in that room. It was all about the vibes and heads upstairs to be honest and all the better for it, at least we were able to have a chat with people we like.boomnoise wrote:ok i'm going to answer this quickly and concisely.

Its never going to be perfect I suppose but it would be a good event none the less and it would solve the problems people are putting forward. It doesnt have to be in birmingham either, Wigan has plently of big fieldsThomas wrote:Birminghams got a lawless side to it?Tomity wrote:I like itThomas wrote:I think next time it should be brought up North, we know how to take advantage of an opportunityTomity wrote:Indeed. What room was N-TYPE and Kode9 in then?

On a night like this not everyone can be happy with set times.
Try putting on something of this scale and you'll know only to well how difficult it is.
If either benga or caspa and rusko didn't smash it there may be an issue. But they both did.
I'm sorry if people didn't see the djs they wanted at their own preferred times but i know there were more happy people ones than unhappy.
thanks for coming down and i hope the running order didn't spoil your night.

and additionally i would like to make it clear that i wanted to promote every dj on that lineup for doing what they do. that's why i booked them.

And as a final caveat i think people should note if they want to see anti social again soon you should head down to their own night at herbal later this month:
