I've never found frequency analysers to be very useful, unfortunately. Is anyone finding they tell you anything your ears don't?
The term is generally 'muddy' and recognising you've got a problem is the first step to recovery. Sometimes you need to take the emphasis off the bass and 1kHz-ish area, and focus on 4-6kHz (presence).
