my mouse (trackball) is right next to where she is laying

where she is located is the first stage to her operation called "attention whore".

she starts there, works her way onto my trackball thing, and eventually she'll be laying on top of my keyboard, so I can no longer type.

Yeah man. I've had him since I was 6 or 7. You can tell from the state of his nose and ear that he was a bit of a bruiser in his youth.
