holy fuck, seriously hope this is true. Offkey is possibly the most quality label out there and Raiden's invincibility cannot be questioned. (I hate you motherfuckers / working class hero / fallin' / almost anything by raiden ... you cannot tell how great these tracks are, you can just feel it.

Something to back this up : I think I can recall a set of Temper D's with Skream's moving snares in the middle of the set. (just found out it was the 3rd offkey podcast)

Having checked out some of this guy's dnb online, I can only say ...

... I hope to fuck that it's NOT true. His stuff sounds like exactly the kind of revved-up-to-the-max, high-tempo, testosterone-fuelled wank that turned drum'n'bass into joke music.

I'd rather see Raiden tossed into a pit of ferrets than allowed anywhere near dubstep. And, just on the off-chance that Raiden reads this: I know a man who has lots of ferrets. And I have a spade. So it's not an idle threat.

give me a break. what dnb were you a fan of? UK clownstep?

i admit, neuro / tech did somewhat drive dnb to the dirt but I have had em out twice and he is truly inovative. amazing dj at that as well.

I seriously doubt that "half the forum" will be reading a thread entitled "Is it true?!?!?!!?!!!!!11!!!!!?".

And if they do, they'll have a harder job untangling your English than they will scrolling down a list of cat numbers.

I'm comfortable with my 'tangled' sentence.

"half the forum"- well that was just a turn of phrase, since you're the English expert I would have thought you'd have realised.

Arguing with people about their tastes is a pointless exercise. Anyway i'll leave you to your Raiden trainspotting and your circular argument. As you were.

You say potato, I say potahto. You say pointless, I say diverting.

Nothing circular about it.

You could take the worst track released on Reinforced, then play it through a laptop buried under a ton of spaghetti, and it would still piss all over Raiden's catalogue, his mates, his Mum, his dog, and his favourite trance producer. And have a gallon of urine left for anything released on Raiden's "innovative" d'n'b label.

I thought you were the guy arguing in favour of Raiden for some reason. I agree with your point actually but equally old Mike Honcho will come along and say 'no, you're wrong' then you'll disagree again and so on until someone gets bored, well if that's your craic then I shan't stand in your way, I just wished you'd formatted that list differently cos my arm hurts.

I hear you. And I didn't mean to catch innocent bystanders in the crossfire ... but listing the Reinforced catalogue vertically seemed the best way to make the point that they were amazing. For, like, 14 years.

jokes huh? funny guy.

no need for insults man, im 28. played dnb for 10 years and have been playing dubstep for almost 3.

I just dont think your opinion was well thought out or really had anything to back it up. So suppose you dont like the 180 bpm fast pased techno dnb that they are pushing. how does that reflect the dubstep he would put out other than mabe the vibe and sounds would be similar? not bpm or anything u mentioned.

so basically blow yourself lol.
