There's so much attention to detail in both her tunes and her mixing- I listen to her first mix not only because I enjoy it but to learn- as a standard for what a good mix should sound like.
not everyone takes the time to pay attention to key matching, harmonix and mix composition as an expression of soul
Medi on the Bass Weight is all around solid, and timeless... never gets old because it's just that good- I still listen to it on the regular- it's just perfect for a particular headspace I often find myself in.
Sonic painter of riddims, this woman. Keep an ear out.

I wholeheartedly agree with the above. I can't even begin with counting how many times I've listened to the mixes, I think I know all by heart already. I still listen to Medicate on a regular basis - partly to learn from the careful construction and composition.

Paulie wrote:OK, so on 31st March we're launching the first in a series of DJ mixes which will be available completely free, with artwork, via download in high quality formats. Vaccine has done the first one, and it's really really good (not unlike all her other mixes). Log on to
www.hotflushrecordings.com next Monday to grab a piece.
Also, HF finally has a proper mailing list
sign up here.
The link is up on Hotflush already ... grabbing it now + the artwork
Cant wait to hear it,
Big thanks out to
